HANOI LA STORIA HOTEL, Hanoi – A Smart Stay in the City

I had an average stay at this hostel which has some positive aspects but also significant drawbacks. The rooms were adequate but troubling pricing practices left me feeling uneasy, and I was constantly being pressured for tours. While the central location was a real plus, the overall experience was marred by issues at the reception.

I had a pleasant stay at Hanoi Lotus Hostel. The location is fantastic, being close to the night market and Hoan Kiem Lake. The rooms were generally clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful throughout my time there. However, the lack of daily housekeeping and some issues with the bathroom faintly colored my experience, but overall, it was good value for money.

My stay at the hotel was quite a mix. While the staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist with our travel plans, the overall atmosphere left much to be desired. The rooms felt old and not very appealing, and the check-in experience was quite unnerving. Nevertheless, the central location was a definite plus, making it easy to explore the city.

Hanoi Lotus Hostel offers great value for budget-conscious travelers, as it's in a central location within walking distance to major attractions. The rooms were generally clean and comfortable, although some aspects could be improved, such as the daily housekeeping service. The breakfast was never tried due to time constraints, but the smell of it in the morning was inviting. The service occasionally fell short, particularly concerning additional requests like early check-in and laundry, which took longer than expected.
